  • How to use?

    No dilution:  ready to use

    Application: 
    PRE-LAYING TREATMENT :

    5 SIDES PROTECTION to block contaminants (stains, yellow stains, glue laying errors) on the back and 4 sides of the material.

    1. Thoroughly clean the back of the tile or slab eliminating dust and residues, and making sure the surface is dry and free from humidity.

    2. When the surface is dry, apply the product on the back and on the edges of the material with a brush or airless pump continuously and evenly, avoiding product stagnation.

    Glue the material when completely dry, indicative waiting time between 12 hours (temperatures between 20 ° C and 40 ° C) and 24 hours (temperatures between 10 ° C and 20 ° C) before gluing the material.

    Choose the adhesive suitable for the type of installation according to the UNI EN 12004: 2012-2 standard. Store the material so that it can dry completely. After the initial washing it is possible to complete the surface treatment with the water-based or solvent-based protective product most suitable for the purpose of use of the material.

    6-SIDES PROTECTION: in situations of high humidity, to block contaminants on the back and 4 sides of the material (oxidation, stains, yellow stains, glue installation errors) and to create a hydro-repellent effect on the upper part.

    1. Thoroughly clean all faces of the tile or slab, eliminating dust and residues and checking that the surface is dry and free from humidity.

    2. Apply a coat of PW10 with airless spray pump or flat brush, distributing the solution evenly on all sides of the material, avoiding surface stagnation.

    It is also possible to apply it by immersing the material in the product for about 30 seconds. Product residues must be removed by dabbing with a cloth, avoiding product stagnation on the surface.

    Glue the material when completely dry, indicative waiting time between 12 hours (temperatures between 20 ° C and 40 ° C) and 24 hours (temperatures between 10 ° C and 20 ° C) before gluing the material. Choose the adhesive suitable for the type of installation according to the UNI EN 12004: 2012-2 standard.

    After the initial washing it is possible to complete the surface treatment with the most suitable solvent-based protective agent for the purpose of use of the surface.

    AFTER LAYING APPLICATION - SURFACE PROTECTION :

    To create a water repellent effect on the front of the tile. On a dry and clean surface, apply the product by soaking the material up to the point with a brush or airless pump. Before the product dries, remove any residue by dabbing with a clean cloth. The surface is dry after only 6 hours. The spray system is only allowed for professional use using the appropriate PPE, as indicated in the safety data sheet.

  • ATTENTION!

    In the case of glossy surfaces, pay particular attention to the method of application in order to avoid leaching the product on the front and staining the surface. Do not apply the product on the front of the material if the surface is shiny. It is good practice to check with the manufacturer the adhesive suitable for the intended use of the material. In the case of a material that has resin and / or mesh on the back, PW10 must be applied only on the edges or on the upper face.
